Tension Headaches

I haven't been to the gym in two weeks because I have had a headache that entire time! It is finally starting to go away. I went to the doctor yesterday and she said it's a Tension Headache and nothing to worry about. She also told me that working out would actually make it feel better. Haha. Go figure.

Weslo 620 Review

I placed an affiliate ad on my page for the Weslo 620 Eliptical machine sold at Walmart. Now I get a lot of traffic to this site looking for a review of that machine. I contacted Weslo to ask if they had any testimonials or reviews of the machine I could direct people to. Their advice to me was to go to Walmart or Sears and try it out. It's pretty tough to do that because Walmart keeps them up on a platform.

I will check at Sears to see if I could test it out. I will also keep my eye out for reviews and put the links up if I can find any.

Free Obesity and Weight Loss eBook

Hello! I don't have as much time to write these days, but I bought a huge list of eBooks the other day. Some were about weight loss and a few of those were pretty good. I haven't read this one word for word, so I can't really tell you exactly how great it is, but it seems to be packed with some good information.

You can download it by clicking this link:

Free Obesity and Weight Loss eBook

It's an executable (.exe) file. I downloaded it with no problem. You should be able to open it right up and read it as soon as you download it. Let me know if you have any problems.

Fitness is a Journey

I was reading the back of the Baked Lays bag today and there's a quote from some fitness person (I don't remember). This quote can be used to analyze any diet or weight loss program in about 10 seconds.

"Fitness is a journey, not a destination"

You need to do something that is going to get you fit and keep you fit for the rest of your life. Quick fixes and starvation are really not the answer.

It's been a long time!

Wow. It's been a long time since I last posted. I have been so busy with school, a new business, new apartment, and a lot of food and beer. I'm 23 and I just moved out of my parents house for the first time. Man, what an adjustment! It's tough to sit in your room when your roommates want to go out or stay in and get drunk every night. To make those alcohol calories even worse, they make me do... eat stupid things.

With such little time, I was always finding excuses not to go workout. It's easy to say I'm too tired to go to the gym when I just went to school all day and worked all night. That was until I went back up a pant size again! I went up one, exercised and dieted, wen down one, ate and drank, then went back up one. I'm really taking it serious again though. I kind of took all of the work I put into my body for granted and over the last 6 or 7 months slowly started to get out of shape again.

I haven't gained all that much weight, but getting back into a regular workout routine has been tough. I can now say that I have a solid foundation to work on and some progress under my belt. That seems to be the key to exercising regularly. PROGRESS! Now that I have progress, I have a lot more to lose if I give up now. Working out 2 times then stopping isn't so bad. Working out 4 times per week for a month and losing 15 pounds, then stopping- that's hard to do.

I'm up to about 3 weeks of regular workouts now. I feel great and look great. I even went shopping for new clothes last night =) I'm hoping to get back into my skinny jeans! I can button them up again, but if I keep them buttoned for more than 5 minutes, I will probably have to have my legs amputated due to the lack of blood flowing to them. Ideally, within the next month, they should be fitting loosely on me again! I'm excited! and YES, guys can have skinny jeans too! Even straight guys.
