Subway Veggie Patty Sandwich
I'm not a vegetarian or anything- not that I have anything wrong with them, but I've been eating veggie patty sandwiches at Subway lately. I don't even know why I like them. It must be because they're different. Well I hadn't thought much about their health stats, but assumed they were healthy because they were veggie patties.
Well I got a scare when I realized they weren't on the 6 grams or less advertisements all over the napkins and cups, so I went home and checked online. To my surprise, the nutritional info on the Subway site didn't even list that sandwich. I got a little more worried. After a bit more research, I found the nutritional content online and it's not bad at all! Thank goodness.
This is from the UK site, so it may be a little bit different. It shows 11 grams of fat, but notice that that includes cheese, so it's more likely closer to 6 grams of fat- and a ton of protein!

I eat these a few times a week--i love them (and yea, I'm a vegetarian). I too had to do some searching around but I actually got the stats from requesting the box at Subway--they are Morning Star Farms brand (a popular veggie product). For a six inch (= 1 veggie max patty) it's 5g fat and 160 cals. That's just the patty, not the sandwich. You look amazing! xoxo!

Tried it for the 1st time yesterday, so I needed to find the points for Weight watcher's.
Found it here:

Hope this helped!

Hi folks,
I just wanted to comment the 377 calories is without the cheese. The original veggie delite is similar version of veggie max, except without the patty. The veggie delite is 230 calories, add 160 for the patty, that comes to 390 calories, add 50 calories for the swiss/provolone cheese(subway cheese is at 50 calories from caloriecount.about.com). So with cheese, wheat bread and all veggies and the patty, no other condiments, the veggie max delite is at 440 calories. Even though, its very filling, and i love it! :) i have mine with hot and sweet ketchup if i'm home.

I luv veggie patty so much but i felt the same. I got a bit worried as they did not tell you about the calories that were in it. After researching i seen on this website
subway.co.uk/menu_nutrition_info
.asp
On that it said that the veegie patty cheese and the wheat bread is 414 calories but grams of fat is 13.3 Just dont put cheese on.

Thanks for that post. I love those sandwiches and always wanted to know if they were fattening. They're so good!
