My Weight Loss Book is available for free download...

I have finally got around to making a separate download page for my weight loss book in e-book format. You can download it by clicking the picture above or the link in the links menu. Once you download it, you can read it right in your screen. It sure beats the hassle of going through my archived posts to read the different sections. Feel free to ask any questions you may have or leave comments. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for writing the book, I just finished reading it and it is very simple and easy to understand, especially when you discuss bank accounts and cars :) Good on you for your weight loss achievements.
Cheers an Aussie Gal in Canada.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it =) I tried to keep it short and simple because it really is that simple. There's no sense in reading a 300 page diet book written in complicated language when that's really not necessary.

I have a question, I am a really bad breakfast eater, infact I actually eat pretty well when I do eat meals but I do not eat enough of them, I am pretty good at going all day without any food and not even realising it as I have never heard my tummy growl in its life. Yeah before you tell me off I know it's bad!! So if I exercise in the morning should I be eating before cardio? and if so what do you suggest to eat?
Cheers Aussie Gal.

You should definitely eat first thing in the morning, whether you're going to be exercising or not. I have never heard any advice on the contrary. I know some things, but I am not sure of the exact and complete reason for this. I know that while you're sleeping, you're body is depleted of it's glycogen stores and if you don't replace the glycogen in your body first thing in the morning, your body will begin to break down your muscles to retrieve glycogen stored in them. This causes muscle loss and if you're trying to build muscle, this is detrimental to your progress. If not, this is still not good for the muscles you've built through your cardio exercise, which makes those exercises easier to do.
I have also read some stuff about your body producing insulin and blocking fat from being burned. I am not sure of this one though. My girlfriend is a Biology major, so I will ask her when I get home.
I will also do some reasearch and expand my knowledge on this and write a post about it this week.
As far as what to eat, I would suggest good sugars found in fruits and natural fruit juices, and also carbs from whole grain bread. You don't have to eat much. When I used to run in the morning before work, I would make a protein shake with fruit, ice, and protein powder. Sometimes I wouldn't even use the protein powder. It gave me a lot of energy and I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for it to settle before I could workout.
I hope this helps for now, but keep checking back or subscribe to my RSS feed. I will be posting more specific information about these processes real soon!

Thanks! When I wrote it, I didn't it want to be too serious and sound just like all the other books. I figured giving visuals and being more casual would help people remember it better!

Aussie Girl,
I have checked out RunnersWorld.com and have picked up the magazine a few times from the store. Now that I've started this blog, I'm going to get a couple of fitness magazines for ideas to write about. That is one of them and I'm also going to get Fitness magazine. It's a bit girlie, but they have a lot of good information.
